hope and healing for over five years and produced the fruit of many changed
lives and people healed spiritually, emotionally and in their physical
bodies. They also travel overseas supporting other Divine Healing Rooms
ministries that they have helped start and seek to provide ongoing training

Richard & Joy continue to travel locally and overseas to bring encouragement
and healing to the Body of Christ. Their ministry has a prophetic aspect to
it and they seek to listen to the Lord and bring fresh teaching and
impartation to those they minister to. They also continue to oversee “New
Life Christian Fellowship, Inc.” ; a fellowship of churches, ministers and
intercessors in ministry and missions.
Richard was saved in 1977 while working for Continental Airlines in Seattle,
WA. A number of
Christians working there including a fellow employee, Steve Bekerus,
witnessed and shared the gospel with him. But it was a message given one day
on television through the “700 Club” program with Pat Robertson that
resulted in him being born-again. Previous to that time he had been brought
up in the Catholic church and later attended and graduated from St. Joseph’s
High School, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Later he attended the
University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida and
graduated after 4 years with a degree in Business
Administration. The following years were spent in
the airline industry working and finally for
Continental Airlines in Seattle, WA as a ticket
agent before taking early retirement and entering
the ministry.
A year after being saved, he began attending “Faith Tabernacle” church,
Kent, WA, a full-gospel church associated with the “Fellowship of Christian
Assemblies”, a group similar to the “Assemblies of God” churches, but
non-denominational. He later graduated from “Faith Bible Training Center”
after 2 years of studying God’s Word and doing internship work in the
Christian school “Faith Academy” there. It was there that Pastor Richard
Martin taught him a deep love for the Word of God and to preach the Word of
God expecting it to produce fruit in people’s lives.
Richard & Joy have been married for 23 years and have three wonderful
children, Anna, John and David. Anna presently attends Washington State
University, John is in high School and David
in middle school. They reside in the beautiful Seattle- Eastside area of
the Pacific Northwest and enjoy the beauty and activities available to the
area.
They continue to seek after God and His plan for their lives and trust Him
to direct their paths in the future as they seek to love and serve Him and
His Body. |
